Concept

Sea Ear is a site-specific coastal installation constructed from marine-grade concrete.

It is designed to shape, focus, and amplify the natural sound of the ocean environment.

The sound sculpture is a spiral inspired by natural forms of a seashell and a wave, abstracted and enlarged to allow visitors to enter and have a meditative experience of the ocean from within its acoustic chamber.
